In August 2019, I was officially diagnosed with classic ADD. This revelation gave me so much closure because I grew up being told by teachers and family members that I was lazy, or I wasn’t going to amount to anything. I did some research about those who are neurodivergent, and I found out how much we have in common. So, I decided to be an advocate for ADHD.
I create ADHD Problems stickers, which the color of each pill reflects the actual ADHD medication. I wanted to let people know that ADHD is more than just lack of focus or stereotypes of having a mentality of a squirrel. I wanted to display real problems that we often go through, but don’t have a voice to speak up about.
